Our client base ranges from small engineering firms to
multi-national pharmaceutical manufacturers. Many companies rely on the

right system for your needs and place great emphasis on the analysis and
specification stage.
In some cases we may write a system to perform a specific task and you will
rarely need to call us again. However most of our clients recognise the
benefits of developing a close and ongoing relationship with our team. We are
then able to take a proactive approach and quickly adapt their systems to take
advantage of changing markets and economic pressures.
For clients who lack in-house support we have almost taken on the role of their
own personal IT department, advising on hardware and software purchasing and
helping out with day-to-day technical problems. In the case of our larger
clients, we work closely with their IT support staff to ensure that our systems
are always compatible with the latest standards and procedures.
Using your data
If the data for your new computer system already exists in some other form, we
can bring it into your new database so you won’t need to have everything
re-keyed. We can convert data from most formats, including spreadsheets and
existing database packages.
System Support
We offer a variety of flexible maintenance contracts on the systems that we
install, so you get the support you want. If any problems are experienced,
these are fixed as a matter of urgency. Advice is also offered as part of this
contract to help users get the most out of their systems.
Existing Systems
If you are looking for a reliable company to modify or support your existing
computer system, then we are always happy to talk you through your options to
see if this is feasible and investigate whether it is possible.
How Do We Work
A typical system would go through the following stages:

Analysis – We arrange meetings between our consultants and your staff to listen
to (and document) your requirements and ideas, ask questions, and make
suggestions about how the system could work.

Specification – A detailed specification is then produced that represents our
understanding of your requirements. The specification describes how the system
will work. It includes details of the inputs, the processes and the outputs.
You read the specification and discuss it with your staff. You may at this
point ask for the specification to be revised.

Programming – Once the specification has been agreed, we design the database
and write the programs.

Installation – The system is usually installed in pre-agreed stages. This gives
you the opportunity to test the system as it is built – and ask for changes
–which is easier than having the complete package delivered in one go.

Acceptance – After putting the system through your agreed acceptance testing,
the system is officially signed off. Should any part of the system fail at this
stage it is amended by us with no cost to yourself.
