FirstClass Document Imaging

The scanning module is now used by a number of FirstClass users to scan all of the documents they receive.

When the post is opened each day all letters and documents relating to their legacies are scanned into FirstClass. This scanning process creates an electronic copy of each document, which is linked to the appropriate legator record via the contact history.

As all emails and letters are also associated with contact history records, all documentation related to a case can be easily accessed from the user’s computer without recourse to the paper file. This can be extremely helpful, especially when working from home, for those users who can access FirstClass from locations other than their place of work.
