News & EventsThe Bibas 2009GOOD NEWSWe are very pleased to announce that Clearwater have been selected to become one of five finalists in the category ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ – sponsored by Virgin Trains. The Bibas Lancashire 2009 , the ‘be inspired business awards’ for the region, are this year sponsored by Lancashire Economic Partnership, in association with Lancashire County Council, North West Regional Development Agency, Lancashire County Developments Limited and Investing in Englands North West. The entry based on our business performance and goals, how we stand out from the competition, our high levels of staff training and support, and looking after our customers has resulted in recognition of our business achievements and consistency in high levels of customer service. We are pleased that all the Clearwater Team are able to attend the Gala Awards Ceremony on 6th March 2009 at the Blackpool Winter Gardens, in recognition of their efforts. The honour of becoming finalists is testament to the dedication of our Team in ensuring customer service ranks at the top of our list. We are grateful that our clients have acknowledged this by allowing us to continue to produce outstanding products on their behalf with repeat business and referral. We are proud to be a Lancashire based operation supplying innovations throughout the UK. Pocket CrossWe have recently completed our new version of our Pocket Cross PDA solution. Pocket Cross works in conjunction with our main PC based Cross System and allows the inspector to check for previous offences and validate addresses by interrogating the company’s main database via web services, through a GPRS connection. This enables checks to be carried out real time and ensures the database is always kept up to date.Nexus, operators of the Metro in Newcastle are now using the new version of Pocket Cross to help catch fare dodgers. Read the BBC news report about this new technology by clicking here. Ftp ServerWe have now successfully installed our very own Ftp server at our offices here in Chorley. This allows us to transfer and receive files from our customers directly. This also means that we are now able to avoid the common headache of sending new releases to our customers only to have it bounced back by their email client. |
