Clearwater have designed a large number of bespoke solutions to meet a wide variety of requirements.

We can integrate Microsoft Office products seamlessly into our bespoke solutions to ensure that customers have all the tools required to carry out their jobs as efficiently as possible.

As well as developing and networked applications we also have specialist experience in web development, including building web front ends for existing and new database systems.

We have developed systems for use with handheld PDA‘s, which are used to allow the recording of specific information, which can then be transferred back to desktop applications using a number of different methods. Recently we have used both email and Microsoft ActiveSync for this purpose and we are currently developing PDA solutions that allow data to be transferred directly to desktop applications using the GPRS network and web services.

FirstClass

FirstClass Legacy Management

FirstClass is the UK‘s leading legacy management system. It is used successfully by a large number of major national charities which include British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Cats Protection, Guide Dogs for the Blind, NSPCC, Oxfam, RSPCA and WWF-UK amongst many others.

Since FirstClass was first designed by a group of leading charities in 1991, it has been continually upgraded to meet the developing requirements of legacy management and to keep it up to date with the latest innovations in computer technology.

FirstClass is used to keep track of all legacies due and received, giving instant access to pipeline information whenever required. A complete contact history can be maintained for each legacy. This is automatically updated each time a letter is created from FirstClass. The standard letters used in this process are configured by each individual charity. FirstClass has an extensive set of financial and management reports.

In 2005 FirstClass Express was launched. FirstClass Express is a streamlined version of FirstClass hosted on our Internet server. It is used by a growing number of smaller charities.

Cross

Cross Revenue Recovery

The Cross system - developed in partnership with Serco Metrolink (operators of Manchester Metrolink) - is an efficient and simple-to-use revenue recovery system designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of public transport operators.

Cross can save transport operators vital time, trouble and money by streamlining its methods of tracking and prosecuting fare dodgers.

As well as recording all standard fares issued, the Crosssystem manages the whole process of securing payment of these standard fares by automating standard letters and reducing paperwork. The system is also a vital tool in gathering intelligence for future planning and staff evaluation.
