We have had wide experience in developing systems that work purely over the web as well as ones that interact with office-based systems. See the Web Development Case Studies for more details. Q. Do you design websites? A. As we often tell people, we are not graphical designers - we are system developers. Therefore, if you are wanting a static, graphically pretty website, then we are not for you. However, we do design web-based applications which are database-driven. These tend to be more functional than normal web sites and do not need to be quite as graphically designed. We have also got experience in designing Intranets which again can be database-driven. Q. Do you have any experience with creating web services? A. Yes. We have developed a number of web services which interact with SQL databases to retrieve and store data. We have also created web services to aid in version control for some of our PDA systems. Q. Do you do any Macromedia Flash development? A. Currently, we have no real Macromedia Flash development experience, apart from a number of R & D tasks we have set ourselves. We are hoping to investigate this technology further in the future. |
